Stopped in at this little private museum/winery just north of Escondido Ca. and seen this 66-7 Comet

Kind of wild that it is just thrown against the wall along with others. Growing up not too far from the track I remember the car above it and that style from early in my childhood. A couple of things that stand out to me on that car are the hubcaps and the (Mercury) script on the top left of the grille. Everything else looks right. I'm feeling a bit guilty for not having burned any premium fuel out of mine this weekend.

Hey Stace, I couldn't read the article board (no reading glasses,,,)
so not sure it was one or just a wanna be to go with the race car.
Was a neet place with an eclectic collection of stuff but noted for
it collection of convertibles.
