64 & 65 Comet Match Race

Big match race was tonight,my 65 Comet against Dale Snoke's 64 Comet,the Rosedale Rocket.I felt bad[NOT},I beat the kid two straight,so we loaded them up and went for pizza[on him]!!! ROY.

Cool, any pictures?
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

Just like the old days,,except for the part "loaded them up" used to be "went for pizza and got loaded!" :lol: :lol:

(Did Dale have a problem with his gas pedal?) 64's usually Kick Butt! :wink:
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

65s ROCK!!! His problem is the "ROCKET" has a slush box!!!!! It was all for fun,Car Craft was doing a photo shoot of The Rosedale Rocket,and Dale thought it would be cool to have the two Comets in some side by side action!! Roger,thanks for posting the link.Fred;we used to do that too,but I had a LONG drive home towing the Comet so I needed to stay sharp[like a bowling ball] to handle the LA freaks!!! ROY.

Back in the day..the pizza part was for someone else,,the loaded part was for me.ROY!!!! i'd give anything to see you and that 65 in action in person!!!! pop,,,,,

Brian;yes I am doing the March Meet,got my confirmation last week.The race was fun,Dale invited me down to put on a show for Car Craft.They were doing a shoot on his 64[Rosedale Rocket]at Irwindale,so we made two passes together.There is a link on here to the race pictures. ROY.
