Parking Brake Lever Spring

I need to replace the parking brake lever spring that hooks to the lever that the parking brake cable yoke attaches to. Mine is missing. I've checked a number of sources and can't find one that specify it fits a Comet. I can buy them all day for a 65 Mustang (of course 
), but when I "check fitment" on those websites, they say it won't fit a Comet. That's surprising to me. Do any of you know if the Mustang spring will actually fit, or have a source for one that will fit a Comet?
