i would like to hear from anybody that has used one of these kits. did it fit? was it good quality? did it need adjusted for the comet?

The description of the product in the 3rd link you posted says it fits Falcon/Comet 1960 up. The cars are very similar. I would check
the front spring eye to rearend pin measurements on both cause thats really the only measurement the 2 systems would have in common.

the comet is longer and I'm not sure if the rear sheet metal (the part that makes the back seat) is in the same shape. so im not sure if that would interfere with installing parts. I found a guy that installed the first kit in his comet and said it took some adjustments but went in with massaging. if I can spend that amount and all the kits need grinding/welding, thats the kit i'm leaning towards.

Well the Mustang is 108, the Falcon 109.5 and the Comet 114
So the Falcon being right in the middle should be simple.
