61 sedan. 144 cu. manufacture date is in June. trying to find a replacement Idler arm pivot bushing. all sorts out there for earlier part of that year.
moog K8826, but that one is too skinny for the idler arm.
I did see one on ebay for late 1961 1962 ford thunderbird and the person actually put measurements on it that look pretty darn close.
was wondering if anyone else had trouble finding this, or just me and my 61 sedan.
thanks.

Re: 61 Idler Arm Pivot Bushing replacement
there is a substitute style available from a few vendors with a ball joint instead of bushing if absolute authenticity is less a concern than tight steering.

Re: 61 Idler Arm Pivot Bushing replacement
That is a tricky part. It changed thru a few sizes over the years until '65 I believe. I have a 64 and it's always been a bit of a chore to find the exact one. I *think* there are even two sizes in 64 (early 64 and late 64). I've always wanted to go the roller bearing replacement, but nobody does it for my exact size and I haven't been up to building it myself. Do take careful measurements.
