You can find a clip adapter on a lot of Jeep sites that adapt lever to the cable seems like I made one from one “HELP” universal kit, once you get that your car cables should connect I am not a fan of the Explorer Ebrake system. If you loo back in my build thread (toward the end) you will see some of my struggles and solutions to getting it to work with the98 mustang lever between the seats. I still have to give it a healthy pull to get it to hold, you have to consider the original was a pedal you stomp on with your foot :?
See if you can find those posts hopefully it will answer some questions for you. Any more ???? Just post them up and someone will try to help.

See Ya,
Mike

I may look at using SN95 calipers which are designed to be operated by hand. There is company that makes SN95 dual caliper bracket kit for Explorer 8.8 but are expensive at almost $300. I may make my own single caliper bracket.
