Just curious if anyone has seen the adapter in the link below and what their thoughts were on it.

It looks like a quality piece. Probably need it if you want to retain the factory trans tunnel as a C6 won't fit in that tiny 65 tunnel. I have used adapters in the past to put a 5r55 on to a 400M in a 1978 f150 and it worked fine.

I have a c6 on my 390 with a modified tunnel in my car. Was just thinking a C4 would be a lot smaller and not rob as much power as the C6. Of course than I would have to build a C4, buy torque converter, and buy a new drive shaft.

You're probably right, did not know what you are after. Getting every bit of power to the ground or cool cruiser where c6 or c4 doesn't matter much.

Thanks Boss, I have looked at those. That would be my first choice in bell housing. I was just doing a little day dreaming.
