Post by fairlaniac »

1964 Mercury Comet Pro Street Project
- OEM front and rear subframes connected with custom 2x3 frame
- Heidt’s Mustang II Rack & Pinion Front Kit, tubular upper and lower control arms (no brakes)
- S&W Back half frame 24” (older rectangle tubing style)
- 12 Point Roll Cage, S&W 8 Point Kit with 4 custom added points (some finish welding needed, side door bars).
- Custom front engine plates for Ford FE engine, read mid-plate, trans crossmember set up for Toploader 4 speed or TKX.
- Ididit Steering Column (factory column included)
- Narrowed Ford 9” rear (33”) with new Moser 31 spline axles (no differential installed), Explorer/Currie rear brakes, not installed.
- Q1A adjustable coil over shocks/springs in rear
- Mickey Thompson 31x18.5x15 rear tires with tubes
- Wheels are used Weld Draglites (15x6 front, 15 x 15 rear)

Includes bumpers, rear glass, extra pair of complete door assemblies, 3 grilles, extra trim, Kirkey Pro Street seat, factory wiring, instrument clusters, heater controls, tail lights, factory fiberboard headliner bows and newer wire headliner bows, lots of extra parts.

Things missing – hood, trunk, interior seats, carpet, headliner, front windshield.
I bought this in 2014. Installed the back half, MII kit, roll cage, etc… Previous owner did a quarter panel patch job on left quarter that needs touched up. Right quarter panel has a nicely fitted patch ready to be welded in. There is a cleaned out hole that was rust in front of right rear tire towards door jamb. Shock towers removed, started firewall, needs finished. I never took inventory when I bought it but I’d say 80% of all pieces factory are there.

Have clear title in my name.

Located in Denver, PA 17517

Cost $5800 and will consider a 2000-up 24 foot enclosed trailer in good condition as partial or full trade.

More pictures available. Thanks
