61 comet base, 144cu. generator question

so i am replacing the totally rusted out 25amp generator with a rebuilt 30amp. I am also replacing the 25 amp voltage regulator with a 25-30amp voltage regulator.
Is there anything else i need to do in this regard? Will i be ok? Engine not running yet as these other things need to be dealt with first.
