COMET CENTRAL

So, got a new prebent fuel line for 61 comet, 144cu. My question, can I install new clips along the way? should I use the old clips, Near the transmission I just cannot seem to
get the new line to go into those dual fuel/brake clips. I ordered some more dual clips for this year car, not sure how they install though.
The new line (stainless steel), isn't exactly very bendy.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks. john.m

Not sure how to remove those clips either if they are the same as '64, most I think I ended up breaking but I completely re-did my fuel and brake lines with non stock stuff so it didn't matter.
