Tube and conical air filter

I built a 3" i.d. tube and installed a conical filter on my oldest Son's first car with a 200. Is anyone interested in this? We can e-mail you pics of what we did if you like. We may build a second one with twin conical filters. Fastronald@ameritech.net

Our digital camera took a dump. I'll have my Son take new pics with the new camera for the set up on his 1981 Granada GLX.

This is our first attempt with the tube and conical filter idea. We may build one that will have two conical filters. We may also create one that will feature a Ram Air set up from the cowl area or hood scoop.

Cool Idea Did you have any issues with hood clearance?

I could see how flexible hose could be used too

No problems with hood clearance at all. It is close but does not contact the hood under any conditions.
