bolt issues

have had some trouble with my generator. i lost two bolts and am confused about the size i need to replace them. one goes through the water pump and tension arm into the block. can't find any info on sizes of bolts. got pictures, got maintenance manual showing an exploded view but no sizes. please help.

5/16 more than likely,take one from another location out and try ( on the pump) 3/8 holds slot end to the generator,are sure the bolt goes thru pump into block? been long time since I had much to do with a 6cyl. pop
