Been looking online for an affordable tool to press the 1/8" barrel rivets on window run to seal up back of vent window. Found a couple but they don't press the 1/8" rivet, only larger. Have found the punches to press but they are cheap and will bend under compression in a vice.
Anyone have an easy solution for this installation that won't break the bank?
Also looking for the channel whisker strip for the door window side of the run.
Thanks
Joe

Re: Barrel Rivet Installation
Not one I was looking at but yes, that will do the job. Too pricey for one job. I have some small punches in my box, but they are slender on the end and will bend in a vise. Would be cool to find a two step punch, same diameter as the tip on the tool to use in a vise. Save some moolahcomethead wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 7:10 pmHey Joe is this the tool?

Kinda pricey
Think I'm going to invest in a tube of 3M Weatherstripping glue, call it a day
Thanks

I bought a few different sizes from this place. They work good.

Found a 1/8" pin punch that might work on their website.
