My name is Tommy...
My name is Tommy...
...and I'm a Cometaholic.
I inherited a '65 Cyclone from my Uncle Jack. It has already been tubbed and had a 351W with it when I got it. The car was disassembled when my cousin Jim called me and told me to come pick it up.
I am currently installing an Econoline front axle, completing the roll cage, and doing a garage type resto leaning towards a gasser/A/FX style streeter. Nothing rotisserie style, just a good clean up and paint, adding some fiberglass parts, and rechroming/painting trim.
I need a few small parts and will be showing my build as progress comes along.
Thanks, Tommy

Right on Tommy, welcome aboard! That sounds like a great project. I/m in the same boat building a 65 Comet and will be doing a father/ son in the garage best as can be build. I will be posting pictures as I learn how. Can't wait to see your car. Ed
Re: My name is Tommy...
I think home garage or shed builds are ok I don't have any kids to share the experience with but I will never forget the times I spent with my dad working on cars.

There's no known cure, you know. I've been one for 50 years. Never had the desire for rehab.
Welcome aboard! Looking forward to following your build.

I'll be ditching the small block for a stroker FE. I like small blocks just fine...but I've always been a 427 fan.
The rear tires are 13 x 31.
Is there a "magic handshake" required to post picks on this site?

Basically you need a host site for your pics then link them to your posts here.
This is one thread on how to do it, there may be others.

Oh, no whola hoop just have to jump through the hoops. A very small price for no advertising and no cost or canvassing to be on the site.

Tommy...This is a more current thread on posting pics. Pretty easy since it will automatically resize pics to fit the forum if you tell it to. (No offense, Fred. )
