Almost if you can spot or in sea of red then a cool low satin black sedan standsstands out as the sexy exotic Comet to be lusted after but keep your hands to your hands to yourself she is already taken
I have been looking at the Mcoy Mercury and I think I will be using similar graphics on my Comet except black paint instead of white and making up my own dealership name, Hilltop Mercury, Osceola Missouri, and on the rear quarter where they have the speed parts line I will make one that says, Ford I6 Speed parts front fender can have 250 I6. But no Hp rating because I have no idea and probably embarrass ing low maybe one day I can get her on a Dino and at least get a baseline rating for the one barrel before I do the multi carb set-up which for now I am not going to rush that I have most everything in place except getting my. Flasks built and running down or making some green casting sand. 9may be the tough thing, I figure I will need at least 100# if I cast 3 intakes at once which is my plan.
Car runs so well with the truck carb right now hard to want to mess a good thing up just not much of the cool factor there but maybe a better solution for a driving car and less finicky for sure, and the carb is brand new, still have some figuring on the Escort carbs and once the cast intake goes on the one barrel won’t have a place to bolt on withoutan adapter
.but that is where I could do like Joe suggested and make steel composite and lower the carb to one side or the other, anyway I am saying no rush on getting the intake cast.one barrel will spin the tires after all and is responsive just not sexy like the rest of the car but it works well

Those 2x4's was put on back in the middle 90's...for the cool factor,,,and it starts and runs so well and is so dang dependable,,,few times I gave thought to takeing one off...but everything is working perfect and always does,,touch the starter and it starts and idles perfect,,,there is no choke what so ever,,so why mess with a good thing,,besides in my area everyone knows POP's comet has 2 4's...and as long as I keep my foot out of it ,,the MPG ain't bad..it's liveable..fuel mileage ain't my thing never has been,,dependalabilty is...and as many miles my comet has been driven and always worked and performed as near perfect as a man could want..sometimes you need to leave well enough alone,,if it ain't broke don't fix it,,,just maintain it.POP has a good life a good wife and a sweet running comet so I leave it all alone...

Work in the morning before noontime, when you can.
Nice out this morning, only 80F. Crawled under the car and reset a shifter stop on the Hurst. I guess their instructions are for bangers. I'm not one of those guys

Hey Roadie,
My car was resurrected just across the bay from you 10 years ago. Wish I could find the guy.
BTW- I'm originally from Key West but haven't been back in many years.
