Jim and Steve;you bet I get worked up,I love watching,and paricipating,in N/SS !!! I go to watch the NHRA big circus twice a year in Pamona [qualifying],but it really does not keep me as excited as watching 60's cars gettin after it!!! I do enjoy watching Stock and Super Stock but they put a limit on the number of cars,what the F_ _ _ ?,yet they let a zillion throttle stop,computor racers in!!!!! ROY.

You mean you do not like watching 200 Super Gas cars take off ,fall on there face ,order a pizza , and then take off again to all run a 9.90 or 9.91 . What is wrong with you Roy !!!!!! Ha,Ha. Jim

Jim;lets see,$150,000 for a 6 second car that you slow down to run 9.90,NOOOOO!!! They should all go to the video arcade,it would be alot cheaper!!Those clowns have more money in electronics than most of us have in our cars[well not quite],makes no sense to me!! The groups I race with allow two-steps and trans brakes[what ever that is],no delay boxes,timed shifters,throttle stops or computors! Foot on the floor,out the back door!!! ROY.

Jim;great footage! I looked at a few others,the Whistler is John Richmonds 65,he had the white cammer powered 65 Comet parked across from me at 2004 Carlisle.His "new" 65 has a 363"Dart blocked,AFR225's,Hilborn's on alky and a C-4,runs 10.0's.Our rules out here allow small blocks to play with the rest of the N/SS crew,mine is the slug of the group[for now]! The white 65 ended up back in your part of the country,Virginia,in a private collection,never made a pass! ROY.
