Nice car! It looks just like mine on the exterior, except that I have a 4 door. My Comet has 58,000 miles.

Hey Bill. Thanks! Welcome to the group. Any pictures of your car, I'd love to see them? What engine do you have in yours? I just finished installing my carpeting and seat belts. They came out great.



Now I'm looking to order matching car mats 'cause I don't want to get the new carpet dirty.

Nice ride; my 62 was white with red interior. I used 65 carpet and it fit okay, not perfect but it was a nice addition.

Mine (62) came with a tube type am radio does yours have a plate over the hole in the dash? or no hole?
also I noticed a factory delete plug where the lighter should be, does yours have an ashtray?

Dave, sorry It took two years to answer, just noticed your question. I'm not absolutely sure where the carpet came from as my father-in-law purchased it 6-7 years ago and it was stashed away for a while.

The car came with the radio delete plate and the lighter delete plug. There is an ashtray. I have since installed a radio and lighter. Although I could not bring myself to mount an antenna on the fender.
