Born Again...Bad

Post by B_Hix »

So my 67 was born as a 6-cylinder car, and when I found her she had a tired old 302 in it. She is on her 3d incarnation, and this time shes come out of it with a new attitude. I haven't got the hood done yet, not rushing there as it will make a good fall-garage project. We were blessed with rain Friday and Saturday so she got a in-garage detailing, basically a good bath and rub down after the rebuild.

Today was overcast but after noon the clouds broke and it dried out enough to go cruising and snap some new pictures. So, here she is, in all her glory, all gussied up and without her hood

Thanks guys :) I'm liking the hornies, John - nice cammy 'popping' at idle but not too loud to have a conversation, even at 70, but when you romp it they dang sure open up. Pop, those are child proof windows - thats as far as they go down, so if I scare someone they aint getting out thatta way =)

I like the new stance.

LR

There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

Thanks LR - I really like it as well. I trust the front will still settle a bit. Ride quality is VASTLY improved.
