If you're wanting to use the program to post pics in threads here I would use photobucket; I've used it with good results here.

That is a beautiful, solid 64. I have one myself I'm about to start here very soon but will have rust to contend with. Love the red steelies. Again, beautiful, solid car. You're lucky to find one in that kind of shape! got another one . . . . . . . ?

Don't find them that nice around here. I'm a fan of the steel wheels too. 8)

Thanks Gentlemen!! truly appreciate your comments. This was a hard to believe find. Original owner, black plate car. 63,000 original miles. The car was 100% complete and original. I really like the color combo. If it only was a 4 speed! I think we will learn to like the merc o matic. we are having a lot of fun. Unfortunately, as you know, some of the Caliente parts are made of unobtainium!

This is a great car, great project. And great photos for the rest of us 64 guys.

Two questions.

1. Did you snap any photos of the complete engine bay before you started taking it down? Would you post those. Would be great to see some survivor engine bay photos for those of us trying to duplicate the correct look.

2. Was it a stock 260? It appears as though you have some sort of new Carb there? Can I infer that you're not using the 2100 that came with it? Is it for sale ;)

Great job on the detail.

Looks good, really good.
Was looking thru all your pictures(a lot of nice Picts), and it looks like you may have your rear brakes on backwards. Small shoe goes toward front and large goes toward rear. In the picture it looks like you have the large toward the front.
