Stephen's Falcon

Post by SASSY »

Just got an email from an old friend in my home town, Saskatoon SK.
AS usual 40 below in the land of the ice and snow!
But a great car town with a strong circle track and drag strip heritage.
Stephen sent me a pic of his Falcon, what's different than the other pics,
the front wheels are up!!!
He has run in the 10s for a while with a best of 10.30 but lacking 60 ft times.
More changes last year now wheels up and 1.49 60s.
But to me the best part is he street drives it a ton!
Well mannered and subtle till his foot falls on the right hand pedal.
Last we talked it runs a 377 W and a 150? shot, C4, Currie.

I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

Where's that like button?
66 Cyclone GT; 245/60R15's on 15x8's and 215/70R15's on 15x7 Magnum's.
There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.

That's what i was thinking. It also looks like he has Cal Tracs on it and seeing the sidewall wrinkled is proof that his car his hooking. Any small block running in the 10's and is street driven, is a big thumbs up for me.
