Sorry to say... not mine. Still working on my Comet. Yes it is a Dynacorn reproduction 69 Body.
Building it for a customer/good friend. It is for his wife, she had a 69 Mach 1 in high school.
Engine is already done. 429 .040 over, 460 crank (think it comes to 468ci) some head work done, nice cam, headers, etc. 4 speed B.B. toploader ordered. Moser 9" with 3:50 gears and 31 spline axles. Weld in sub frame connectors.
Painting it Indigo met, with the mach 1 black out on hood and black interior. Cragar SS wheels.
So far pretty impressed with the body, but only spent a couple hours with it. Going to be really, really nice not having any rust issues to deal with!
My first time seeing a complete body in a box show up, thought it was/is pretty cool.

The body comes with a MCO, Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin. The procedure in Pa is after the car is done take it for a enhanced inspection and if it passes they take pictures and give you a form. You take that to the notary with the MCO and receipts from the build. The notary will fill out forms and send them to the state. Then the state will issue a vin plate and specially constructed vehicle title. Similar to getting a R title except no vin plate for R title.

I agree, I don't think anyone would mind seeing a build thread down in the "Sister Section"
See Ya,

We've enjoyed the heck out of Dan's, Joe's and Stacey's builds! This one promises to be just as good.

That's so cool! brand new canvas, paint your own portrait. Been gazing at this & thinking how times have changed. we're all gawking at it, thinking how cool it'd be to get one & build. but seems like back in the 70's when I started driving, if we saw a hull like that we'd just laugh at it. people would say,''that's just a shell,,it needs everything,,would cost a fortune to fix it''. or we'd sell them because the whole front end was wore out & the motor or trans was too. because you could go find one better a whole lot cheaper than you could fix all the wore out stuff. or you'd hear someone say ''the speedo has rolled over, over 100,000 miles on it. dern thing is wore out!'' My how the perspective has changed!!!
I guess we thought they would just keep building better, cooler new cars. but I guess the coolest ones were hard to top!!

Was going thru some pictures and seen these, thought I would update. The mustang is actually farther along than the Comet but the owner is also working on it too.
Paint
And pretty much where it is at now
Hopefully done end of summer / fall
Going to be a cool car when done.

Slick paint job, man!
Did you shoot the hood flat black? Hard to tell in the Cragar shot.
