hi I am restoring a 1961 comet and looking to put a v8 in it and would like to know if any year 302 or 289 will bolt right in and where is a good place to find parts for my comet and a motor thanks

i found my 302 on Facebook market place, but any fox body mustang and some older ford trucks will have the engine, check pull a part places, when you do find one, check the engine code to see what year, because that will come in later in your build.

You'll need a new transmission too because a 6 cylinder trans will not work behind the SBF V-8.

I have a 260 V-8 and matching Automatic trans in Florida if needed for Sale.
