Hi all,
Does anyone have a good source for head bolts for the 144 engine? 1961. Are there other years like 62? that would work? or the 170 size
engine. Googling everywhere and just not having good luck. headbolts.com has a set for 109.00. seems pricey and they are for the
200 size inline 6. (hate asking like this, but running out of leads)
thanks. john.m

These are used head bolts. From what I've read, you should not re-use the head bolts. (for various reasons).
I was looking for new. (and the picture only shows 12, there should be 14).

my builds use ARP head bolt fasteners including the Supercharged small block 250 , boost can reach over 1/2 bar ( 7-10 lbs boost = C.R. approaching 15: 1) . Blew off the piston ring lands on turbo version but head did not lift
