still no luck

this things gonna be the end of me, I swear it! Changed every fuse on the headlight switch and even one spring loaded one under dash. No luck. No power to even the hot side of the switch anymore, much less the lights. Thought maybe I'd shorted the battery, even hooked a jumper pack to it, nothing. Very frustrating, was so close to having it ready to be able to move around at least, AAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!! All this from the brake light wire touching the inner fender for one second??? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and special thanks to Hillbilly Cometman for all his words of wisdom. If this thing gives me a heart attack, you can have it. lol. thanks
