Re: 4 speed
there is a complete setup ,shifter and all from Hurst ,and yes they want an arm and a leg.I BELIEVE there is one on Ebay right now.Nope,ITS GONE,I didn't realize they used the Toploaders in 64-65,I thought that they all had T-10s.I had a lot of trouble coming up with the stuff for my T-10 swap in my Comet.I ended up buying the complete setup shifter and linkage from Hurst,IT SHIFTS ALOT better than my original T-10 shifter did.Good Luck.
Dan Williams toploaders has the shifter and install kit for $280,Is your toploader from a Falcon and have the 14" tail shaft housing with the shifter mount at the front or is it from another application?

Re: 4 speed
its not a falcon toploader its from a fairlane or a torino.i read on this forum that someone put a
4speed in there comet and it was a pain id love for my car to be a stick but im doing this on a very

Re: 4 speed
Yeah,I put the 4 speed in mine,It wouldve been much easier going with an auto in the floor and run Hedman 88400 headers with no obstacles.
