So I am working on my 63 convertable window regulators and have found out these are not re-made. I am having a hard time finding them. The problem is some retard used vise-grips instead or cranks and have destroyed the splines. Is there an interchange I can use the replace the crank shaft? Or do I need to find used parts? I am trying to do this as economical as possible. Any help is greatly apperciated. Thank you.

It looks like I am going to cut the mangled ones in half and weld some splines on from a good set

Already done, took about an hour and turned out great plus everthing got greased and cleaned.
Re: 63 conv window regulators
I just talked to a guy and he told me that the shafts out of around 67 Mustang regulator shafts will work. He said that the regulator repair kit works on these regulators. I have not been able to confirm this but it might work and some else looking for this fix, this might work for them.
