Door hinge question

Post by DesertRat »

It appears that I have to replace the lower door hinges on my 65 comet. Can anyone say if 65 Mustang ones will interchange as I am finding nothing specific to complete 65 comet door hinges.

Are you sure you need to replace the whole hinge? Is it broken? If it's just wobbly, you can replace the bushing and hinge pins to tighten it up.

Yes both bottom hinges are damaged. I discovered it when I was taking them apart to install the rebuild kits I have on the shelf. Thanks but I need rebuildable cores or new hinges. DR

Thanks, I got lucky and picked up a set of NOS hinges on ebay. Never been on a car.
