The '65 bench seat calls for two larger springs to assist movement forward/aft in the tracks (in addition to a smaller spring which retracts the adjustment handle).
I have the springs. However the illustration indicates there is an anchor (highlighted by red below) without a part number... I do not believe I have any anchors (none in my box of mystery parts anyway...)
Is the MPC illustration accurate (here for the 65 falcon bench)? Has anyone sourced those anchors? Does anyone have an extra pair I can buy off them?
Seat Spring Anchors?
Seat Spring Anchors?

Re: Seat Spring Anchors?
Hmm. My car does not seem to have them... my bench never did operate very well... I wonder if the Seat Anchor Spot Welder was a bit hung over when my car past his station on the line that day...
Is there a little hole in that thing where the spring hooks?

Re: Seat Spring Anchors?
Super, thanks for the confirmation.
I think I will just bolt in a couple of smallish eyebolts. I have already dynamated there... I am not excited about having to clean off an area large enough to weld anything.
