That is a nice picture. The camera angle is just right.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

I agree. Each year has it's own unique styling features.
I love the Lincoln Continental grille in the '64.

So true, Joe! That grille even made a few Lincoln SUVs look good (relatively speaking, no SUV really looks "good").
That grille would be perfect for a retro-Comet based on the Coyote Mustang, but we will never see that.
