Can someone tell me if I have a Merc-O-Matic or a C4? Is there a way to determine by looking?

Looking at the pan gaskets on line, the number of bolt holes has me believing it’s a C4.

Yes
See how many shifts it has . if it shifts twice then that's 3 gears - it's a C4. but it'll probably be a greendot trans so make sure & check the right gear. check both  green & white dot gears. I get mixed up on which is which.

Don't the green dots have a iron case and C4 aluminum?
I've only owned one green dot, in a '66 Mustang. Did wrestle a few FMXs :?
