So I got my new lower control arms. Pretty much everywhere i looked online, the new ones all look the same, 61-65 ford, comet, ranchero, falcon.
Question: I notice the hole for the link that the stabilizer bar attaches to is off a bit from the original one. Will this be a problem? I don't want
to damage the new lower arms if i have to send them back. I've never done this sort of maint. on a car before. Thanks.

The stacked linkage components between the sway bar and the control arms have enough flexibility that it can handle the misalignment. Heck, it might even line up better than the original.

Thanks!! actually I think i am going to reuse my original lower control arm and replace the ball joint and the bushing.
Decent ball joints are pricey and I can get 2 new lower control arms with bushing and ball joint for almost the price of a single ball joint,
nice, but makes me think that the ball joint that comes with the control arm is cheaply made.
If I'm wrong, let me know....this is new to me.
