I sure like all of it,,,1st time the public saw OL RUSTY on a trailer at a cruise,,,men and women all said don't paint it...even teenagers and even at the drag strip most said shoot a coat of clear and leave it alone,,,except one man said it needed a nice coat of paint,,,,JOE,you did good on the falcon,,,that boy is looking good and growing like a weed,,how about the baby girl,,,she ought to be right behind him,,,,JOE,be careful with that FALCON ,,you just have a 8in rear gear...you know what most say about it...
Thanks Pop!!
That little 8” should have exploded already!
I have no worries at all about that rear end. None. The yellow Falcon in the pics is also running an 8” and he’s much faster than me. He’s had that rear in there for years with lots of balls to the wall track time.

My little girl is in the pic above. She’s behind the Falcon in her moms car with her arms extended. She loves the Falcon too but doesn’t get as excited as my boy. She’s about as tall as him too.

I like the look of your rusty 64. Hell why not? I’ll keep it like this until I get sick of it. Haha.

Man, that's a cool Falcon, Joe 8)
Forget about painting it and save for speed parts. I call it a great day if nothing breaks. Great job

I just love the patina on the old SkyDog ! I'm borrowing that nick from Duane Allman cause it keeps popping in my head when I see this car. Dang that boys legs are growing like weeds in a ditch! Next thing you know,,,''Dad can I take the comet ??? I got a hot date!!''  :D
Thanks John! I think she’s gonna stay patina for a long while. Seems to be a favorite at the track...or they’re just feeling sorry for me
My boy already wants to pull the Comet out of the garage for me I guess it’s time to teach him to drive a manual trans car

Cuttin the light or nailin the apex
Both have their own thrill!!
But the rumble of 20 plus cars all lookin for that tiny advantage coming to the green flag, your door being rubbed
The "love" tap from the competitor behind you sending you a notice and at the same time you are sending notices of the same type then as you come through 3 and looking out of 4 looking for the wave of the green flag, ya short track saturday night racing, that's where my heart is! Just thinking back to those moments what an incredible time I had!
Fred
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about
