Here are a few interior shots. You can see the rubber flooring that needs to be replaced. Everything else looks to be in great condition.

Yes, I feel very fortunate to have it, but torn by how I got it. My mother-in-law was very happy to know I wanted it once she asked. She was "worried" because she didn't know what to do with it, not realizing my interest. Now I've got a long western NY winter to scope what's ahead of me. Real glad I found this forum.
I don't know if you noticed my avatar? That's the actual mileage on my Ruby! I'm stoked.

Pop, Even though I'm a northerner, I've been coon hunting. Went once with my grandfather some 35 years ago. I remember the hide stretching boards in his garage. Don't remember the dogs names though. Ha.

Thanks for the welcome. I did not see their listing for the black vinyl molded mat. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm really hoping to get a closer match as mine is black with a red print over it, making it look as if it were carpet(see below). I'll keep the black one in mind. I do have a replacement carpet, but now I may have a choice.

BOY o boy dan....now its choice time....black---red---------or carpet,,funny thing is,,it'll look good with either of the 3.I lean in favor of red like when new or black over carpet,,but what ever you do its going to be great looking....good luck pop

Re: "Ruby" my 62 Mercury Comet
Bruce, Maybe it's me but I'm only seeing the Black. On your link, I opened the Catalog Part 1. On page 19 of the catalog (page 21 of the PDF) on the lower left side, I see;bmmaurer wrote:They have Black, Tan, Red and another color on PG 19.
"Vinyl - Thick, textured, black vinyl floor covering"
I don't see any other colors. Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Dan

Nice car! It looks just like mine on the exterior, except that I have a 4 door. My Comet has 58,000 miles.
