This one I find both funny and true.

I worked on the railroad when I was first married,,,My old foreman quit speaking english when he got excited!
We worked on bridges back in the day when ya drove spike with a hammer not a machine.
Stood on the oppisite side of the rail you were spiking and swung over the rail.
Kinda exciting standing out on the tie edge spiking the inside of the rail!!!
FAct is I wasn't too good at it, would miss the spike, the wooden shaft hit the rail
and the head went in the water,,,We called my foreman Bingo (couldn't pronounce his name)
Used alot of forgien langauge on those jobs but I kinda figuired out what he was saying,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

NOPE!! tow -mater was not around back then, that old man could fix anything ,always carried a razor sharp pocket knief and could spit tobacco juice farther than any one,and at the time we thought he knew more about women, than any one ,,,but as we grew up,,,,,soon firgered out he wasn't that smart when it came to the women thing..but he took a lot of time with us,showing us how to do things and giving a place to hang out,it was the tipacal red neck garage, wood burning pot belly stove, cracks in the plank brd walls you could stand back and throw base ball thru.....at the time,,,we were on top of the world,,,thanks...pop..I went back yrs later to vist and to thank him ,,every thing was nailed up,yard un kept,,no one knew nothing, other then customers and us boys,no one ever came around,,he was just gone..some said after us boys grew up and left ,he was seldom seen,,,,,,,,

While my wife was out of town on a girls weekend I posted a pic on Facebook of myself on naked garden day. Fred that was my excuse to her. In my defence I was left unsupervised so she got me a t-shirt with that saying.
