The Lone Wolf,, not Comet related
The Lone Wolf,, not Comet related
So we had this Red Cedar growing too close to the house causing foundation and other problems.
Shown here being trimmed so it can be dropped.
I saved a carveable stump but had no idea what I wanted there so it sat for over 2 years.
Over that time I talked with Kane at Friendly Bear Chainsaw Carvings and we came up with a plan.
Because of the height of the stump I needed to build a substantial platform for him to work on.
Then he spent the better part of 3 days creating our Lone Wolf

Re: The Lone Wolf,, not Comet related
hey guys , thanks for the great comments! I really like the work too.
Kane is fairly young and was inexperienced when I first met him and I wasn't too keen on his work but
he blossomed into quite an artist with the chainsaw!
Pops, maybe I should name him Chuck(had to google McQuade,, lol)
Johnno, the place looks a little different these days,,, it's been falling for a week and 'spose to keep
it up for another week!!!

Nice work there Fred. And is that a 90's bobtail Eddie Bauer edition?
66 Cyclone GT; 245/60R15's on 15x8's and 215/70R15's on 15x7 Magnum's.

Thanks Stacey, the tail is warped around its left hind.Lip Ripper wrote:Nice work there Fred. And is that a 90's bobtail Eddie Bauer edition?
We actually hope to add a couple more carvings. Kane hasn't figured out how yet but I would like a den hole below "Chuck" with a pup's head peering out howling and a wood spirit face at the bottom back side.
