I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

I found another vid where they interviewed the owner driver.
He's 65 or so my guess having fun. Was complaining the engine
wouldn't run past 7200 that day, usually 7600 :shock: at thd end of the straight.
Mine can keep up to a stock 289 :) ,,, in my dreams.

its a pretty impresive car & he drives it well, I have known him for a while, he has just pulled out of that racing bracket recently, i think it might have been getting a bit expensive, a few years ago he broke an axle at the Sydney track in testing, he rang me to see if I had a spare, so I dropped my complete 8" diff out of my Comet to the track, they fitted it & missed qualifying so started rear of grid & finished 5th, he won the next couple of heats, & set lap record, John
